A Southern Ontario painting company built around planning, professionalism, and consistent standards for residential and commercial projects.
The standards that guide our work.
Gallant Professional Painting was founded through a partnership that combines perspectives, generations, and strengths within the trades. A combination of operational precision and forward-looking leadership — we balance on-site engagement with the structure needed for sustainable growth. That contrast shapes how Gallant approaches every project: practical, organized, and intentional in how work is planned and delivered, informed by firsthand experience inside the trades where quality work is too often undermined by poor leadership, weak planning, and unsafe or disrespectful job sites.
We set out to build something different — a painting company structured around professionalism, safety, and accountability from the ground up. Gallant pairs deep field experience across residential, commercial, and industrial environments with a modern, systems-driven approach to scheduling, site control, and client communication. Every project is planned, supervised, and carried out with the expectation that our work must stand up to scrutiny — from homeowners trusting us with their space to business owners who require predictability and minimal disruption.
Based in Cambridge and serving Southern Ontario, Gallant builds long-term client trust through a calm, organized, and professional experience from first contact through final walkthrough. We believe large projects succeed when expectations are clear, crews are respected, and standards are enforced consistently. That belief guides how we operate every day, on every site.

These values are more than statements to us — they are the standards we choose to live by.
Defined standards. Applied daily.
We believe care, thoughtfulness, and accuracy are how quality is proven and trust is built.
Doing the right thing when no one is watching. We choose long-term reputation over short-term gain, every time.
The resolve to act with honour, to protect what matters, and to prove who we are through our actions. This is Gallant.

Clear answers to many common questions about our process.
We work across residential, commercial, industrial, and multi-unit environments, including:
Interior and exterior painting
Commercial and industrial repainting
Condo and multi-unit projects
Specialty finishes, feature areas, and select refinishing work
We take both one-day projects and multi-day scopes, provided the work is meaningful and can be completed safely and professionally.
Yes. We do NOT provide structural repair, drywall replacement, or general construction services.
Cabinet painting, wood staining and refinishing, may be offered by request only, typically as part of a larger scope. These are evaluated case by case.
Project timelines vary by scope and season, with exterior work subject to weather conditions.
We commit to clear scheduling and manage sequencing carefully. If weather or access issues arise, we communicate early and reschedule promptly. Exterior weather delays are prioritized for the next suitable work window.
What happens if there are delays outside of your control?
Timelines include reasonable buffers, but delays caused by weather, site access issues, or other trades can occur. In these cases, we communicate clearly and adjust schedules accordingly.
Client-caused delays—such as lack of access or changes to scope—may affect timelines.
Protection and preparation are core to how we work. All floors, fixtures, and adjacent surfaces are protected using professional-grade materials. Work areas are kept orderly, and sites are cleaned daily.
When we leave a site, passageways are clear and the space is left tidy.
Safety is non-negotiable. We operate with formal hazard assessments, site standard checklists, and procedural controls on every project.
We will not perform work that is unsafe, structurally compromised, or outside reasonable risk—even at client request.
We primarily work with Sherwin-Williams high-tier products. We choose Zero/Low-VOC materials by default, and take appropriate measures when handling and applying any hazardous materials.
Client-supplied paint is not accepted. This ensures compatibility, performance, and warranty support.
Estimates are delivered digitally as detailed scope documents. There are no surprise charges.
Any work outside the approved scope must be reviewed, authorized, and approved before it begins. Clients are provided with a single point of contact for the duration of the project, and all scope changes are reviewed by management.
Pricing is based on scope, surface conditions, access, scheduling requirements, and the level of preparation and protection required. We do not publish pricing ranges because no two projects are alike. Every estimate is prepared as a detailed, written scope so expectations are clear before work begins.
Gallant is not positioned as the lowest-cost option. Our pricing reflects professional planning, experienced crews, premium products, and accountable execution.
Yes. We provide a two-year workmanship warranty on residential and exterior projects. Commercial warranties vary by scope and are outlined in the estimate.
We follow manufacturer specifications precisely and assist clients with manufacturer warranty claims if product issues arise.
What is your touch-up and deficiency policy?
One touch-up may be requested within 30 days of completion. Colours, products, and finishes are documented and retained on record for the life of the warranty.
If an issue arises, we assess it professionally and take responsibility where applicable.
